R2G Pink Taffy Zoanthid

Aquaculture — USA-grown Pink Taffy zoanthid (Zoanthus sp.) frag.

Zoanthids are colorful, beginner-friendly soft corals whose polyps open by day and spread across rockwork into dense colonies. Pink Taffy thrives under low to moderate light with moderate, indirect flow; keep water stable and give the frag a little room — or its own rock — so it does not overrun slower-growing neighbors as it grows.

• Light: Low to medium (about 75–250 PAR)
• Flow: Moderate, indirect
• Placement: Rockwork, lower to middle of the tank to start
• Space: About 1–2 inches from neighbors

Handling note: zoanthids can contain palytoxin. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling or fragging, wash hands afterward, and never boil zoanthid-covered rock.
