Forest Fire Digitata is a hardy, fast-growing branching Montipora (Montipora digitata) with fiery orange-red branches and green growth tips. It is one of the easiest SPS corals to start with: give it moderate to high light, steady random flow, and stable alkalinity, calcium and magnesium. Start it in the middle of the tank and move it higher once it colors up, and leave room for its branches to spread.

• Light: Medium to high (about 150–300 PAR)
• Flow: Moderate to strong, random
• Placement: Middle to upper rockwork once acclimated
• Space: About 3–4 inches from neighbors
