Care

• Difficulty: Easy.
• Light: Medium reef lighting.
• Flow: Medium, gentle and non-turbulent.
• Placement: Middle of the rockwork. Give it about 3 inches of space; it spreads onto nearby rock.
• Feeding: Do not target feed. It is photosynthetic; keep iodine and other trace elements replenished through regular water changes.
• Temperament: Peaceful, but aggressively spreading. Keep it isolated from corals it may overgrow.
• Water: Stable reef parameters; salinity 1.025, temperature 75–78°F, and stable pH around 8.1–8.4. Slightly elevated, stable pH encourages pulsing.
• Acclimate: Float, drip acclimate 20–30 minutes, place it, and leave it alone. Closed polyps the first night are normal.
• Dip: Dip before the display and inspect for pests; use CoralRx, iodine, or potassium chloride according to label directions.
• Watch for: Loss of pulsing, detritus buildup, algae, bleaching, or rapid spread. Adjust flow and placement, and trim or isolate spreading growth.
