Rainbow Anemone is the rainbow form of the bubble-tip anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor), with purple, green, and pink tentacles and the swollen bubble tips the species is named for. It needs a mature, stable tank: give it a rock face with a crevice for its foot, medium to high light, and moderate indirect flow, and expect it to walk until it finds the spot it likes. It takes small meaty foods once or twice a week if offered, and a settled, well-fed animal commonly splits. It wanders and stings, so keep prized corals out of its path.

• Light: Medium to high
• Flow: Moderate, indirect
• Placement: Middle rockwork with a crevice for the foot
• Space: Plenty of room — it wanders and stings neighbors
