Care

• Difficulty: Easy.
• Light: Medium reef lighting.
• Flow: High — sea whips need moving water to stay open and feed.
• Placement: Middle rockwork, mounted upright.
• Space: About 2 inches from neighbors.
• Feeding: Photosynthetic gorgonian. Strong flow does most of the work; optional fine particulate food in the water column.
• Temperament: Peaceful soft coral. Give it room to sway.
• Water: Steady salinity about 1.025. Stable alkalinity.
