Yellow Octospawn is a Euphyllia LPS (Euphyllia yaeyamaensis), a relative of frogspawn and hammer corals. Its fleshy tentacles split into short branches with bright yellow knob tips. Give it moderate, diffused light and low to moderate indirect flow on the sand bed or lower rockwork. Keep alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium stable; small meaty foods 1–2× weekly are optional. It puts out stinging sweeper tentacles, so leave room from non-Euphyllia neighbors.
